Sumray Battery Rebates
A Sumray battery installed by an accredited installer qualifies for the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, the national battery discount that began on 1 July 2025 and moved to a tiered structure on 1 May 2026. The discount is delivered through Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and applied as an upfront reduction at the point of sale, not claimed back later.
How the tiers work. The rebate pays the highest rate per usable kWh on the first 14kWh of capacity, a reduced rate on the band above that, and a smaller rate again on higher capacity, up to 50kWh. Because the SR-LV14G-L1 delivers 13.92kWh of usable capacity at 100% depth of discharge, almost the entire pack sits inside that top-value band, which is what makes it so efficient to claim.
